"Spoiled Rotten"

Lexi decided to have her birthday party at a local Spa. They do a "Spoiled Rotten" party. The whole room is themed spoiled rotten, with furniture, runway for a fashion show, and all of the dress up clothes one could imagine.

Lexi sitting in the "Princess" chair while she opened her presents

Eating PINK cupcakes, and PINK cocoa

Getting pedicures

And manicures

After they had all finished their pedicures and manicures, it was time for the fashion show

They all dressed up

And walked down the runway. The coolest part...see that big screen in front of them? They could actually watch themselves walk the walk!

It was so fun to watch the girls personalities come out when they designed their own "runway" attire.

.....and the best part, after having a fun dress up party, mani's and pedi's, cupcakes, and cocoa provided, I did NOTHING! No silly games to plan, no little gift bags with treats inside, no entertaining 10 girls for 2 hours, no cake and ice cream to buy or make, no mess in the house...

Guess Lexi wasn't the only one feeling a little "SPOILED ROTTEN" that day!

4th of July

Fourth of July

Every 4th of July Mike's parents have a big BBQ with the entire family, friends, neighbors, friends of family, the Macy's lady who checked them out...you get the picture, pretty much everyone.

The kids have a great time and the food is yummy to the tummy!

Lexi's Birthday

I know, I am a hypocrite. If you read the post about Jordan's birthday...time got the best of me, and Lexi got a store bought cake. She is so funny. She wanted to pick it out herself, and to show me that she is maturing, she did not pick a barbie cake, or a cute princess cake. This here is a wedding cake~ No matter how hard you try to grow up Lexi, you'll always be my little princess!

The family over for presents, cake and ice cream, and fun!

She was so happy to get her first radio and CD player. Now, we can all have Miranda Cosgrove and Miley Cyrus memorized!

Jolley's Ranch

We love Jolley's. It's kind of like our home away from home in the Summer. We like to pull the trailer up and spend the week. Mike doesn't even have to take off work. He simply comes "home" to the trailer at night.

The kids love the river

And just relaxing outside, where it is just a bit cooler

Ava is an absolute animal lover. She has no fear, even of the animals that makes mommy scared. (which is a little scary) This is my aunt Becky's dog, who Ava fell completely in love with upon their first encounter.

Jordan's Birthday

For Jordan's birthday, I went out on limb and went for taste vs. look and convenience. I love to buy store bought cake because they look so professional, they are easy to order and pick up which saves a lot of time...However, they don't taste so good. At least that's what my family thinks. My mom never bought, or made a cake from a box. She always baked from scratch. She was a wonderful teacher to me, and taught me to make some yummy things.
So, my cake may not "Look" so good, but let me tell you, it was the best chocolate birthday cake we have had in a long time!

The whole family came over for presents, presents, and more presents. My kids are so spoiled by such a wonderful family. We also had cake and ice cream too!

A Lot of catching up to do...

I have found myself too busy to blog over the past year. I have kept up with reading all about what my blog friends are doing, but as for posting...lets say I have some catching up to do. I am ready. Exactly ONE year behind, and 4 Disneyland trips later, I am catching up!

Art City Days

I love the month of June. We have lots of birthdays in the family, and it is the city celebration of "Art City Days".
It means a fun parade..

The Carnival...
Rides with our cousins Carson and Ellie...

And even Uncle Jared.
